Given the parallels that are being drawn between now and the 1930's its interesting to look at what happened to share markets then. In this research paper we look at what happened to US and Australian stocks in the 1930s. We then compare this with the current crisis.

Investment strategies after a market crash - Majella, Jan 2009

In this paper, we explore three potential investment strategies investors could follow after a stock market crash. We also review the outcome of these strategies if they were used in the 1973/74 and 1987 Australian stock market crashes.
